Haian City, China Travel 2011

My 2nd visit to China

As I’ve promise you guys, here are some photographs of my last visit to China, this time, at Haian City, about 3 hours land travel from Shanghai.

View of Haian City from my hotel room. It looks awesome with those well-lighted streets of Haian City.

My usual breakfast in Jin Long International Hotel

Start of my walk around the city during "rare" vacant time. Oh I love to have streets with this wide-spaced slot for pedestrians and bikers.

Did you notice the pedestrians and bikers in the background? Hope that in the near future, the Philippines will become friendly to pedestrians and bikers as well.

Locals with their electric bikes and patented riders mask-visor while roaming around the city.

While crossing the streets, I got the opportunity to capture wide streets of Haian City, or shall I say, wide streets in China. During my 2 visits here, what captured my attention is their wide roads and separate bicycle lanes for bike lovers. I always dreamed of having that benefit here in the Philippines, to somehow, lessen our significant carbon emissions and help to increase healthy habits among Filipinos.

Guido Plaza – commercial complex just across Jin Long International Hotel

Parking area for e-bikes and bicycles beside Haian City Square. This, in one way or another, is how the government encourages the locals to use e-bikes or bicycles than those cars that emits carbon dioxide.

Wow!!! Super spicy food!

Locals use bicycle to roam around the city

Mother with her daughter travels around the city. I wish to have that kind of face mask, and bicycle as well, LOL!

The Grand lobby of Jin Long International Hotel. I got this photo right after we walk around the city. After that, I chose to still have some more walks around the city to see more place and activities around.

Local traders doing business inside Haian city square

The Haian City Government Building also serves as venue for residents to do some outdoor activities like dancing, biking, running and a lot more…

Night shot of my hotel after wandering around the city.

Healthy food. Dinner at hotel.

I really love this scene - Mother tries to perform her duty as a mother even while traveling or biking. I’m just hoping that the child seating in the bike wouldn’t absorb bumps and shakes.

Now, let’s go back to my homeland, The Philippines.

Travel Incentives to Boost Your Employees' Productivity

I am a well traveled individual. My work allows me too. I enjoy my job for it brings me to places I've never been before. But even I had to travel to the same destination for a number of times in a year; it still excites me to see the progress of the province.

I know a lot would envy the type of job that I had. With this , I could say that a travel incentives are brilliant idea. Normally, employees need a little inspiration to be more productive. Travel incentives for an excellent performance in this case are five star element to inspire.

It is a win-win solution for both employees and companies. Companies get the output that they wanted from their employees. On the other hand, employees get the reward that they deserve.

Brown's Wharf Inn at Boothbay Harbor

A view from one of the Waterfront Rooms of Brown's Wharf Inn

Indeed, I am a frequent traveler. And in the places that I’ve been, I must say that I had chosen some of them as my favorites for offering the amenities that is of utmost consideration. For a summer destination, I would really love to enjoy the heat of the sun while enjoying the beach; or anything related to water activities – could be fishing. I heard this is something that can be enjoyed in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Imagine yourself catching fishes together with the fishermen in their fishing boats and seeing some lobsters crawling in their homes. Isn’t it a perfect union with nature?

With that in mind, I’m sure you’ll be in search for a Boothbay Harbor Inn to stay in. Well then, I would suggest you to check out Brown’s Wharf Inn. You may look into their site for online specials and vacation packages. More so, if you are already decided, you can even book online. Simply supply your arrival, number of nights, adult guests, and children; then check for the availability. Presto! You had booked online!

Don’t worry about their accommodations. I knew for a fact how comfort is of ultimate goal in every travel. With that, I have read that their room includes flat screen color TV where you can tune in to your favorite cable channels, free Wi-Fi, and a view of the Boothbay Harbor.

Encouraging enough eh?

Paulo's Travel Tips

I don’t have an itchy foot. No. I don’t travel for leisure. Travel is an unavoidable part of my work. And with the number of travels I had locally [and a few internationally], I had become aware of the dos and don’ts in traveling. On the other hand, I am no guru when it comes to travel; hence, what I can speak about is merely based on experience [and not in depth studies].

Foremost, I must say that you have to travel light. Yes, exclude those unnecessary baggages you put on your luggage. You won’t need them anyway right? And just in case you do, I’m sure you got that extra penny to buy one; unless you would want to torture yourself carrying those loads. You are bringing toiletries? No, free those spaces for other important things. I’m sure the hotel that you’ll be visiting will gladly provide you with those. Try visiting Hotel Teneriffa or Hotel Hamburg City, you’ll surely have one. And don’t hesitate to ask for another set come the following day. I believe they have allotted for customers.

Secondly, make yourself aware of the attractions of the city you’ll be touring. It would be nice to have a tour guide; but if budget inhibits you from having one, Mr. Google has all the answers to your queries. Thus, if you are going to visit Finca Mallorca mieten; it would be nice if you got to know more about the place before plunging into a foreign land.

More travel tips to follow. Keep on visiting.

I've Been Busy Last Week

While everyone is enjoying their long weekend (the declared holiday as the Philippines mourn over the death of Ka Erdy), I have been busy. There's no holiday for me then. I have to wake up early and be at Cubao by 6AM for I have to catch up my 9AM flight to Cebu. No, it was not for vacation, it was for work. I have to work even on a holiday. The declaration is that late that I already booked my travel and could not cancel my trip. It had been a busy week for me. Will be posting here the pictures I had taken in my succeeding posts.

Longing for Another International Trip

I have always been traveling almost all over the Philippines. I can say that I had already explored Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Just now, I am here at Pangasinan for some audit works. Although I don’t find my work boring, I just feel that it will be more enjoyable if I’m really there for a trip or vacation. At the same time, it will be more meaningful if I’m there together with my family. Anyhow, I knew that one of these days, I could travel for leisure with the love of my life.

Fortunate for me, my work already sent me to other countries such as Japan and Thailand. I’d say that I really wanted to discover new countries’ culture and beliefs, as well as their tourist spots. With this, I would like to thank our business partners there. They had served as our tour guides as we enjoy the beauty of their countries. But, my last out of the country trip had already been more than a year ago. And I guess now, I had been longing for another international trip.

I could have already been to Switzerland, but my travel was cancelled. As of now, I am eyeing a trip that is different from my previous travels. Perhaps a travel Via Australis is a great choice. I would really love to have a cruising trip through the bodies of water for a new thrill. With that, I will be able to take photos of the Magellan straight, the Beagle channel and Cape Horn. Of course, I will be sharing them with you.

Choosing Australis, I will then be dropping off to Chile, a ribbon-like country. Probably I would start learning Spanish to be able to communicate with its countrymen. With my Chile travel, I’ll make it a point that I would be able to visit their tourist spots such as San Pedro de Atacama, Easter Island, and Torres del Paine.

And to complete my trip, I will be having a stop at Termas de Chillan ski resort and try my skills (If I have any). Or, if I got cold feet, I’ll just resort to swimming in one of their swimming pools, ha ha.

Okay, have to park now, got to work.

Next Destination: New York City

Okay, that was just a dream… for now. I do believe that I will be able to visit New York City in one of my travels as a part of the Quality Assurance team in our company. Or maybe simply have a vacation there together with my family, and my love one.

After booking your flight toward the big apple, the next thing that you should do is to haunt for Cheap Hotels in New York City. Like I do, what I consider in picking a suitable place to stay is the comfort. I know I won’t be 100% staying in the hotel for I have to enjoy the beauty of the city. However, I should assure myself, that after a tiring day of discovering the city, I would always have the comfortable place where I could rest and have a sound sleep. Furthermore, facilities such as Wi-Fi connection, cable TV, and amenities that would enable me to enjoy my stay even at the four corners of the hotel room is a must. Not to forget the hotel’s location to accessible transportation to my desired destinations. I have here a snapshot of one of the hotel rooms that could satisfy my needs and wants when I travel.

A comfy bed for two

I guess this one's for a couple :)

For your New York City escapade, it is best to look for local info on their tourist spots. They will surely have the best information. Well, aside from the famous Statue of Liberty that you should not miss visiting, Catholic tourists should also stop by the churches in New York City.
